I updated the links and added a couple of mirrors. I've always thought the dancing banana is a great way to add cheer to your day.

Sorry DanceMentor, but not even close to true....you're forgetting the Barbara Moore (http://www.dance-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=101) interview in Articles! (~2,000 more viewings!)

Hey, I LIKE the Dancing Banana (and I'm not one of those people that sends a bunch of stupid jokes through email every other day).

But you're right, SDsalsaguy. The Dance Fever thread is also bigger.

This is an old link that's been floating around the net and through e-mails for ages now but when I saw that banana, it reminded me of my old friend the purple hippo and I just had to share.

Stanford's Decadance has an awesome, whacky choreography that they perform to the dancing banana soundtrack ("Peanut butter jelly time" by Buckwheat Boyz (?)) . At the end, a guy in a banana costume jumps on stage. It's great!

That's cool, dnquark!

Does anybody know where to find the donkey version? Or is that gone forever?

  just listening to the song makes me laugh! I was serious when I said that a banana or "peanut butter and jelly" won't be the same as a result of this thread  Are there any video clips?

Which link, DP? There's the first banacing banana link, which no longer works. There's a dancing banana link mid-thread, which worked just fine the last time I checked. And there's a purple hippo link. Which doesn't work? :?

Yep. The dancing banana (sans donkey) still works just fine, for me. 8)

Play dat. Play dat. Play dat. Play dat. Dere you go. Dere you go. Dere you go. Peanut-butter-jelly peanut-butter-jelly peanut-butter-jelly with a baseball bat ... Etc. (Sorry. Had to get that out of my system. )

It is amazing how good computer animation has gotten. (For some reason I do not think this sentence is gramatically correct, but I cannot figure out what needs to be fixed. Has something to do with using the word gotten.)

I'm not shure about that. The numbers might have been changed after the forum software switch... However, it's cool if it is this thread... :p
