where are they from?

they are a youth couple, i think from DC... I talked to them at Capital... They danced at imperial comp you came to.. not sure you remember them

First off, thank you for the welcome!
This could come from personal bias, but I think that Michael and Karolina and Jan and Irina were both unfairly placed. Michael could have just had an off night, but usually he places well above Anton and Kira.
Meanwhile in the pro latin division, I thought that Jan and Irina were more clear, powerful and rhythmical than either the Ostashkins or Ilya and Nadia. The crowed evidently agreed with me, since there was an uproar of "boo"s with Jan and Irina's placings.

To avoid confusion, I really liked all the couples who placed ahead of the "victims" but still earnestly believe that politics joined technique and performance as a key factor in ranking tonight.
