Finding the rhyhtm

Hi,

I'm just starting to practice some tango (dancing in general). I'd like to know if each loud sound I hear in a tango song should correspond with a step in order to follow the rythm correctly.

Yes, you can start with that. It might get a little boring after a while. There really is no rule about beats and steps in Argentine Tango. Step fast, slow, long, short, whatever you like for variety and to follow the music.
