Ok, this week I thought it would be cool to try an action game, so I bring you the Cobblestone Capers. Enjoy! :p

I can get to the begining of the Kabuki Girls section, but can't figure out how to get past the first elevator there... :(

oh, died but I did not get to see my final score. I did get to the Penguins mansion though. The maid has a pretty good axe kick!

I'm happy to report I solved the game in about 20-30 minutes, beating the robot at the end.

I remember making a long floating jump to the left and then just running as fast as possible

Somthing like
Across to the right
Up the platforms and at the top jump off to the right
Down the platforms
Across to the left
Up the elevator
Across to the left

Across to the leftI always did that, but even if I start running right away, the time always runs out before I reach the end of the second elevator .. for some reason says it says to do it 90 sec, but the clock starts at 77 sec

That's because the countdown is going while the little flash clip with the Penguin is happening.

I basically pressed and held the right, then left arrows from the start to the finish of the level and jumped and glided as necessary, as DM said above.

Yeah, I had no problem escaping that, but I can't get onto the second elevator after the molten metal pouring...

Huh? I guess I should actually try one of these games. :oops: :lol:

Sorry. I haven't updated much since I discovered tetris fifteen or more years ago. I LOVE tetris!!!! Other than that, I don't spend much time on games -- well. Maybe a little. (I like the online versions of backgammon and mahjongg, too. ) I get obsessed with conquering games, so it's probably better that I not even start. :lol:

if you're where i think you are, it takes some practice. you have to start your running start just before you hit the apex when you jump. if you miss, glide back to the elevator you're on & keep going. it took me about five minutes to get past that. i died in the molten lava after hopping down the elevators (after hopping up) on the first try - which probably took 1/2 hour. arrgh!

I finally had enough time to sit down and go through it. It reminds me alot of some games my nieces played when they were young that had Math and Spelling in them. You had to jump and catch the right letter or number for the word or equation.

Some of the levels you just have to use brute force, but some of the others you can just jump over the assailants and move on.

Great for getting tendonitis on the Kabuki girl level. LOL
