I did a DF search. We don't have a bachata songs thread! :shock:
So, seeing as we've got so many great fans of music in our midst, I think it would be a great idea to make a list with our favourite bachatas. From Aventura hits to hidden gems that are unknown to most, from oldies-goldies to new age pieces, we all love a good bachata. ;)
This can become an amazing list. Bring it on, people.

Good thread idea TE.. :D Seriously, when I hear a bachata song and think about dancing it with someone I love, my heart just melts... okay enough of that.

A very popular (maybe too popular?) bachata album is Monchy and Alexandra's Hoja En Blanco. To me, if you only have one bachata album, this would be a good bet. There are not really any bad songs, and several very good ones. Highlights from the album for me include #2 (Pasion), #5 (No Dice Nada), #7 (No Puedo Vivir Asi), #9 (Este Castigo), and #11 (No Ha Sido Facil).

Weeeeell. Aventura always does it for me. My favourite songs so far are Cuando Volveras, Me Extrana La manana, Todavia me Amas, Mi Hermanita, No lo perdona dios.

Your spelling and syntax confuses me, ballare. :lol: One answer to your question is that if you go to your CP > Edit Options > Miscellaneous Options and change to Enhanced Interface, you'll get the option of inserting a picture in a simple button. Though I really don't see how this relates to Bachata.;)

I recently discovered Dominic Marte and they are indeed very good. La Quiero must be my favourite, it's very sensual.

I'm listening to Ricky & Diana's version of Perdidos, on Batanga right now. It is good, but not as good as Monchy y Alexandra's version, IMHO. They also have a cover of Hoja en Blanco and Obsesión, on their CD. Does Ricky & Diana only cover other bachateras/os, or do they also do originals (I don't recognize the other songs on their CD)?

Bachateras: Vanessa Gil, "La Vickiana" (who sometimes sings w/Luis Segura), & Valeria (who was promoted by Luis Vargas). Of the three, I like the style of Valeria's album, La Mujer, the best.

Otherwise, I'm loving Joe Veras's new album. He's doing some really creative stuff w/bachata & each song is interesting & unique. "Chiquilla Chiquita" from that album (La Travesia) is starting to get popular & I'm on the verge of overplaying it myself.
