Jumps. I thought I could do them before but then when I was asked to do an axel in jazz class I totally caught like 2 inches of air. Pathetic I know. I just wanna know if any of you guys have suggestions for how to jump higher.

Welcome to the Forum Family!!!!
Hmm...I don't have any suggestions on jump improvement, but you may want to search through www.dancespirit.com. Dance Spirit is a magazine designed for jazz, tap, ballet, and modern dancers, as well as dance squads. It's FANTASTIC for dance tips and stretches/exercises.
Two other magazines to try:
Dance Magazine - www.dancemagazine.com
Dance Online - www.danceonline.com
Dancer Magazine Online - www.danceronline.com
When I get some spare time, I'll look through some past issues and see what I can find.

Usually if you are having a problem with a move the problem is actually being created a few counts before. I would guess it is how you prep. for the jump. Like dancersdreamland I'll defer to one of the resident dance experts to explore how to improve your jumps. :)
