I would like 2/3 nice songs, with easy to hear beat, to practice American/Intl foxtrot and international rumba too. Any suggestions?

(I'm taking classes in this so...)

we regularly practice to Frank Sinatra's "look at me now"...there is a fairly new "best of " CD of his that I bought in NYC that has at least a dozen appropriate selections...you can literally feel the feather...rumba, idunno

Foxtrot: Frank Sinatra's "How Little It Matters (How Little We Know)" or "Witchcraft."

Rumba: Chayanne's "La Playa" or even Terence Trent d'Arby's "Sign Your Name" (the latter should be easier to find).

Ah, see, I have a rule... I don't drink and dance because I don't want my head to keep spinning even after I stop. ;) You can have the whiskey though!

Very true, very true...

Back to topic for Sagitta though...

Foxtrot:
Any Dream Will Do - Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Me and Mrs. You - Michael Buble's version is really good for beginner foxtrot
Walkin' my Baby Back Home - Nat King Cole

Rumba:
I Just Called to Say I Love You - Stevie Wonder
Just My Imagination - The Temptations
Viente Anos - Buena Vista Social Club
Lightning Crashes - Live (The intro is really great for hearing the S,Q,Q of American rumba)

Bella Maria De Mi Alma - Antonio Banderas (Clear beats, beautiful melody)
Casi Un Bolero - Ricky Martin (Same as above)
I second Chayanne's "La Playa".
