What is on your dance Christmas list? I think Pygmalion will probably get to this one first.

A workable dance partner :P !
I would make a very good training partner so even a (relatively) newbie with the right style & attitude could benefit from training with me....
As I have only officially returned to salsa in the past 18 mths (after a five-year break) I feel like I have HEAPS of catching up to do......

A workable dance partner :P!
YES!
...um, in my case also make that a serious dance partner!*
(* I've taken some license in this response since, personally, Christmas is not a holiday for me.)

What is on your dance Christmas list?
Lest anyone think that I don't want peace on earth and all other such most desirable things... I was taking will's question at face value and responding about my dance wish list! :D

And who says world peace isn't dance related? First, to a dancer, EVERYTHING is dance related. Second, just think what a beautiful world it would be if everyone in the world would, just for one moment, lay down their arms or stop their arguing and dance? Just dance? Wow! What a vision. :D

Kind of like Snoopy and the Red Baron. :) Well at least the part about putting down arms for some form of peace at christmas.

Dancing; lots of dancing. :D 8)
• world peace
• a balboa/collegiate shag practice partner
• abundant wealth so I can keep dancing and learning and have a home in Alameda or Noe Valley
• world peace and kindness and generosity human to human
• to be the world's best follow
• a grown up passionate partner who dances--on and off the floor
• health and happiness for my daughter, my family and my loved ones including and especially my fellow dancers

~ Gift cards to buy some dance fiction books
~ Gift cards to buy some dance non-fictio books
~ Money to take some more dance classes and workshops
~ Some new belly dance hip scarves
~ To be able to sew so I can make my own belly dance costumes
...I think that will do.

Yeah,
a serious dance partner IS more important than a workable one! (I assume he's already workable if he's serious)...
International 10-dance or at least latin...
And else I want to find a new apartment with hardwood floors

1. Carlinhos Brown – Brazil – Alfagamabetizado -- not been able to find the CD anywhere... :(
2. Time with family/relatives and dancing. Know I have the first, but we'll see what I can do about the second :)
3. Renewal / strengthening of my faith. :)

Well, since this is a wish list, I might as well go all out, right? So make mine a 19+ dancer too! :D

My family knows that I collect classic salsa and they always try to get me CDs, but never know what I do and don't have. Well, I went out of my way and created a 1200 CD list that I would like to have so they can take their pic. I also marked 250 of them that I really really really really want. :D Hmmmm... I'm looking forward to Jan 6th for my presents, we have decided to celebrate the 3 kings day instead of xmas. We figure it would be nice to keep puerto rican tradition alive in our family.

Hmm, I'd just like to have my family get together and have a nice meal without any major arguments. That can be hard for a group of stubborn Italian-Americans...but I'll keep praying for that. :)
And of course, more dancing. More specifically, more SALSA dancing! A nice dance partner couldn't hurt either. :P

My number one dance wish is for everyone to dance.
After that it is for everyone to discover the history of their dances. So many people have no idea about the cultures that spawned their dances, the movers and shakers, the originators passed and still present.
Lastly... for everyone to get swept up in the dances I love that way there are more partners for ME! 8)

Borikensalsero, my family celebrates The Kings, too. I don't really get any gifts or want any. I am too old. But some more music is always welcome. Something for the victrola would be great. All I have is that ubiquitous Caruso.
