Nope. I think George should have scored lower than Tia and Max as well.

Not in any way.

George is a great entertainer, but his actual "dance" movements are only slightly above Kenny Mayne and Master P. He might not even be better than Evander Holyfield. How George got 8's this week and 7's the previous week is beyond my comprehension.

I've come to accept the fact that this show is not really about judging ballroom dancing using realistic and sensible criteria but is just for entertainment and ratings. Somehow, I learned to stomach this irritating fact because this show is giving unprecedented exposure to ballroom. So to answer your question, I think its very unfair but I guess the positives of this show far outweigh the negatives.
