Music!!!!

Dancin' and music go hand in hand right? So I thought I'd start this thread so that everyone can share their favorite songs to dance to. It doesn't matter what song it is or what type of dance you do. That's not just important. It's all about the music here! So go on and give it a try. I personally like:

I just attended a contemporary Christian heavy metal rock concert...the band Skillet performed and they have this AWESOME song called Savior. When ever I hear it, I can't sit still. Unfortunately, I find it incredibly difficult to dance to rock, so I follow the masses and usually just bang my head or jump, jump, jump, jump! :wink:

That song is stuck in my head at the moment, so I can't really think of any other songs I can't sit still to. Hmm...I'll have to think on this a while.

Why don't we make it more interesting and put what we dance next to the song if we dance something in particular e.g. hip-hop, or salsa, or waltz, or tango :) I'm curious as to what interesting combinations people come up with...

I can't keep still to many songs...too many to enumerate. Even if it is just tapping my feet...I feel the music and off I go, transported into my very own world...To my own mortification I unconsciously bopped down the church aisle during the recssional while carrying the cross one day. :oops: :? :) I was feeling particularly happy that morning and it was a very lively song!! Since then I have made a conscious effort when in the public eye, especially in church, when carrying the cross, or the missal!! [Today is a Sunday, hence all those church/mass references!]

I'm horrible about remembering names of songs, movies...things like that, however there is this swing song with the lyrics "It don't mean a thing, if you ain't got that swing..."
