Wow...only 44 years old and he's gone. Very, very sad for baseball fans all over the country. I may be a die-hard Yankee fan, but I have such respect for the cream of the crop like this guy....

baseball hall of famer...and now dana reeve..leaving behind young children who are orphaned, in a sense...so sad

just when you think you have it bad...her poor son has lost mom dad and grandma all in one year...I'm 40 and falling apart at the prospect of losing my 62 year old mom...cant even imagine what that poor kid is going through...

He's definitely at a very vulnerable age to be experiencing so much loss. Hopefully he has a good support system.
