Wow! Awesome pictures. What do you mean some, there are a TON of pictures on your site. Yippee!

I think you're going to make Mambo Queen very happy when she sees the picture of her new favorite dress, you got a lot of pictures of the woman wearing it.

Thanks for posting them.

Is the fushia color dress the Queen? Wow! Awesome! No need for frying pan :)

No....not me!!! I want a dress that color (more magenta than fuscia). I don't see any pics of me on that site, which is probably a good thing!

Sorry I didn't get to meet up with you. I did get your voicemail, but I had a perpetually lousy cell connection at the hotel....lame excuse, I know. Next year, for sure....

:) Well, I did remember a pix you sent me, all I could say was you looked just like that! (just not the curly hair) So :) Looking good!

Ya, definitely meet up next year! You can drink many shots while I sip my coffee :) Perhaps you will come to IGB? That's in July, also Stephan's comp.

I wish I could; I'm sure I'd enjoy the weather there in July. As it stands, I think I have one in NY and another in TN in July. Probably all I can handle! But, definitely will be back there...especially since one of my good friends is moving out to San Mateo. I want to bring my kids, too.

It's a shame that the non-SF folks have to experience SF's non-stop rainy state! It's so unusual to have this weather for so long...Usually it's really 'sunny california'!

mamboqueen
04-05-2006, 10:48 AM
It is very bizarre because in Boston last Friday, it was 70 degrees, so I missed out on the nice weather here. Today, it is SNOWING!

I really felt like SF was more like Boston than what I envision California to be like. We were knocked into reality when we finally spotted a few palm trees.

Hey Mamboqueen, in which dances/levels did you compete? I was at the sfopen several times last weekend.

I did pro/am silver latin B. My pic is on Superhsag's website, yellow dress, in the Global B Silver Latin Scholarship category. What did you do?

mamboqueen

yes...but the video clip outs me as "the queen" *LOL*

Ale...not sure what the problem is, but I can only view it from one of my two home computers as well.

And they somehow spelled my last name incorrectly (probably my pro's handwriting).

Ah found it! Click on it once and the page reloads, click on it again and it will load the quickplayer page with the clip, in my case anyway.

They spelled a bunch of stuff wrong at this comp, MQ...misspelled Inna's new partner's last name and even MY pro's last name, and he's American! Don't know why they wanted to add a letter onto the end...

maybe Chris Johnston did the typing (*ducking*)

Thank you (if you're talking about the yellow one); that is the Chrisanne dress I had cut down. I actually feel like it's too short now...so it's going on the block.

I don't agree that it's too short, because it's a Latin dress and it's supposed to show some skin. I think it's better to show lots of leg, especially if you've got good legs, rather than too much cleavage or bare midrift. I like the dress, but yellow is a heinous color on me.

I remember back in the day before everyone knew what the internet was on my island, people used to say stuff like..."Do you have internet? Cuz I wanna come over and play Internet"

Stuff like that. It was great.

And this is off topic.

My husband was once asked by a CNN camera crew back in like 1998 or something to show them "the login screen for the Internet."

Uh, yeah.
