Thank you so much everybody! I had a wonderful birthday which consisted of indoor rock climbing all afternoon on Saturday, followed by dinner and salsa that evening. It was a special treat because we had expected a group of six people. Apparently word got around though, because 16 people showed up - SIXTEEN!!! I'm still feeling very, very loved. :D It was also the first time they had tried a latin night at this club. Gorgeous floor, but too much reggaeton for my liking. That's okay though, it could get better with fine-tuning. I danced all night though and had an absolute blast.
On my actual birthday day, I was awakened by a phone call from my Nana at dark o'clock...just before my alarm. She always tries to be the first to wish me a happy birthday. So, she sang happy birthday and then offered me the use of her cane because I'm getting old.
I managed to leave the office while there were still daylight hours. That in itself is a miracle these days. From there, I had dinner with my family and then coffee later on with a very dear friend whom I hadn't seen in ages. :)
So, I'm now a quarter of a century old. It feels good. :)
That ain't old! ;)
But happy birthday nonetheless.

Happy belated birthday, Medira! Thanks for helping me get registered here :) I played with your separation just a bit, but I'm sure you can figure it out.
