This is not meant to be a political thread............there is a bit of humor in it actually...... but serious aids is a problem but what is going to happen after this scenario....

"As a former head of the South African National AIDS Council, Zuma shocked many by arguing against scientific evidence that there was little danger of him contracting HIV from unprotected sex, and that his taking a shower after intercourse with the woman reduced the risk of transmission.
Doctors and health activists fear Zuma's testimony could undermine years of prevention campaigns against a virus that has infected up to 6 million South Africans -- the highest number anywhere in the world.
Women's groups said the case has increased awareness of rape in South Africa, where rape is common with 114 cases reported per 100,00 people, compared to a rate of 32 per 100,000 in the United States. In 2003-2004, more than 55,000 rape cases were reported to police, an increase from 44,750 in 1994-95."
( underlined part is my edit)

by the way, he was found not guilty of rape charge this afternoon........... where is this going to take the world in its aids crisis.......

Um. Get this guy to a doctor's office for a briefing. Shower prevens AIDS? Right, so does doing the hokey pokey right before having sex. :headwall:

Ow. My eyes hurt from squinting.

sorry, somehow i never saw it was so small. i didn't do anything deliberately/conscious to make it so small........i can't edit my post either, edit button is MIA. Maybe a mod can edit and increase the font size........

You can just imagine the jokes flying around about this......apparently she was wearing a shorter skirt (no idea how short). Now everytime a lady with a shorter skirt (still very decent) enters the elevator, someone has a wise crack to share....

In any case, this is a very sad situation. With such an article on CNN's website (and i persume therefore on live CNN) just what does the world think of South Africa now ? How many potential tourists would be staying away rather than coming to visit ?

I saw Zuma being interviewed on BBC World News last night. Is it just me, or does he talk in circles (like so many politicians)? I don't think he actually answered a single question.
