Okay. Let's pretend I'm a wannabe Argentine tango dancer on vacation in Buenos Aires. Where do I go? How much tango can I really learn in one or two weeks? How do I find the pulse of the Buenos Aires night life? Any ideas?

Huh? Lots of emoticons, but I'm serious. What's the deal? Should I learn some tango, then go, and spend a week ot two in workshops? Can that really help me? Talk to me, will. I really want to know.

I've heard good things and bad things about those tours with the Tango teaching mixed in. What you need is a place to stay and a person on the inside.

I understand what you mean, will35. I'll keep an eye out for charlatans. But I think a one or two week intensive, coule be a very good thing. I think I'll try to learn a few basics here, then schedule a vacation there in the summer months. What do you think?
