Help me please!

I am not sure where to put this topic, but I just got back from Mexico (vacation) and down there we did a lot of dancing. There is a dance mix that is very good and I want to find it. Its very hard to explain but its very upbeat and -some- of the words are "Hey Macarena..." (its NOT the original macarena). Does anyone know a website w/ mexican dance hits or knows of a song like this? Thanks!

I believe it was a dance mix. It was mostly music w/ some lyrics. I remember there was alot of "Hey Hey Hey eh eh eh...." :)

Maybe if you upload a WAV or MP3 audio track of you singing the song, we may have a better shot at naming that tune ;)

Umm well there are like a million remixes of that song. Did this particular one have a techno backtrack? Try searching for it a cdnow as they let you listen to samples of the song first

I found a couple possibilities at macromusic.com -- CD's called Macarena Mix and Macarena Dance Party. Unfortunately, that site doesn't have audio sampling, but maybe another site that sells those CD's does :?: Thoughts, anyone?

As Tash says, there are a million versions of that song.

And yes, when the English version was going around, a Mexican band did release a version of the song in Spanish, and it did sound quite different!

A search of Jenn's favorite site should find some results - Google!
