Went dancing tonight...was so-so. I think I can count on 1 hand the number of tandas I danced. Oh well--at least two of the tandas were really wonderful.
On the upside--the very exciting upside--I met someone new there. He's moved out this way for the summer specifically to study tango, and we got to talking about a particular teacher. He's had some lessons with said teacher, and I'm working on arranging lessons.
So...we've decided to try taking private lessons together to lower the cost, primarily. And, it looks like we'll probably end up being partners of a sort, at least for the summer. Yay!!! And, he's got almost 2 more years of experience dancing AT than I do--good for me, hopefully not too much of an impediment for him.
