Just a quick one, folks: I just heard about a guy who took a second mortgage on his home to pay for several trips overseas to take dancing lessons. Another person's parents sold their second family car to fund their child's dancing...anyone else got examples of extreme behaviour...examples of "the things we do for our sport"...so to speak?

Well, I am going to quit half a day of work from the beginning of the next school year(I'm a teacher) so that I can go to my dance lesson and dance an extra evening each week! :D It will reduce my annual income by $5000 or more.
It will be 3 evenings of lessons and dancing instead of two; can't wait :!:

That's what I like about my job. The opportunity to indulge in dancing!! :) A big sacrifice!!! Seriously. :)

I bet a lot of DF member have sacrificed much, much to keep dancing. I doubt anybody's going to line up to admit publicly that they pawned the cat! But dancing is a $10 - $15 thousand a year habit for me. That's a lot of sacrifice.
