Ok, I felt pretty sure I made a post on this topic previously, but did a search and could not find anything so I'll ask this again; I did ask on a couple of other forums which I no longer use.

Is anyone here familiar with a dance known as the Rocky Mountain Stomp?

I'll have to take it as the answer being no if there are no replies; no one else that I've mentioned it to has heard of it either.

I did this once with a church group at a local C&W club years ago. It is like a folk dance done in a circle where the ladies rotate and and the men turn them in these patterns that I now forget and there's a stomping of the feet somewhere.

I have never heard of "Rocky Mountain Stomp." I did a search on "Kick It" a site which is a master data base of abazillion C&W dances. The search came up with no results. Do you have step sheets on the steps?

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Sorry to say that I don't have any info on the steps and I don't remember just what they were as it's been sixteen years; I do think there was a move similar to the sugar push done in ECS. The only thing that I can recall is that it was kind of fun.

I see. I don't know if you could call this a line dance since it was done in a circle kind of like a square dance.

I did a search and was able to come up with this.

It is termed The Teton Mountain Stomp and it may or may not be what I'm referring to; just been too long for me to remember clearly.
