Looking to learn samba and I can't seem to find many places that sell instructional videos/dvds that teach samba only. I'd appreciate any suggestions!

Hi madgypsyfool! :D Welcome to the forums. :D My samba videos came from dancevision.com. They have international style taught by Corky and Shirley Ballas and American style taught by Ron Montez.

Welcome to the forums madgypsyfool!! :)

You might also want to check out the forums for samba information. When I did a quick search using the search function in the top right-hand corner there is a thread on samba websites, another on timing, another on the samba bounce. I've found subject appropriate threads really useful as I learn various dances.

I highly recommend ANY of Corky and Shirley's videos...they're just awesome. A bit pricey, but it's soooo worth it :D I especially like their Latin technique video...anyway I found the link on dancevision so here is where you can order their samba video:

[Edited by DanceMentor - Please don't be upset, but we just can't allow commercial links in the Ballroom Dance Forum. If you search on Dance Vision for samba, you will find it]

Good luck! :D
