In the past few months, I've been noticing references or images of partner dancing showing up more frequently than they used to in general media (indicating perhaps, she says hopefully, that dancing is becoming more a part of the general public's consciousness). Here are two I noticed recently:
a TV ad for some hair removal product taking place in an Argentine tango class
"Ballroom dancing" as an answer in the newpaper crossword puzzle; the clue was "social skill"
Anyone else have any examples?
