Just to let everyone know that Malaysia just had their 1st salsa festival last week on Aug 4th - 7th. It was a great one! Suzana Montero, Santo Rico, Candice & Lautaro and others were in town. The venue was at the beach resort which was fab. After a long day of salsa, we had dips in the pool in the middle of the night with Santo Rico and Suzana, had loads of fun. We had excellent weather, sunny & warm. Workshops were great.
Sadly everyone was sick after that hehe.. including me.
Guys if you are able to join us for next yr, do think of Malaysia Salsa Congress in Asia.

Where are u from ? You saw the t shirt?
Cool wherever you saw it from.
Just lil more updates;
We had morning afro workshop by the beach, bachata workshop by the pool, bbq dinner and a salsa pool party at night.
The next Festival gonna be at Singapore in Oct. I'll be attending that as well. Expecting to be a blast there!.
Now i know why ppl chase congress's around the world.

Someone had the shirt on in NYC this past weekend. I hope to be in Asia in January, but I haven't checked yet to see if there are any Congresses going on at that time. I think there is something going on in Beijing right now. I was in Chicago last week and some people told me about it.

Beijing was last week. Heard it was pretty good. One of M'sia instructor was invited to perform and judge there. There was a competition going on too. It's still pretty new in China.
Shanghai and Singapore Congress in Oct . I'll be going to the Singapore festival.

Cool, lemme know when you're back in NYC. I've heard the dancers in Korea are very good ... don't know if you've been there.
