I'm not a dancer AT ALL!!!!
I am a musician..and I really would like to incorporate (not a lot)
but some simple cool moves in an upcoming music video I'm
going to be making.
Any suggestions for DVD's or local teachers here in Nashville,TN.
as far as maybe finding my body, style, and moves that would
relate to my music, its been described as Beck meets
David Gray meets Lenny Kravitz.

Please, ANYTHING that might help lead me to the right direction
to start learning how to incorporate my music with a little move
and groove.

Thanks a lot everybody

Are you looking for a ballroom instructor or something more geared towards hip-hop?

I'm looking for nothing in particular I guess.
I dont think hiphop, I think I would have to see
some moves to maybe classify what I'm looking
to learn. Something that would cater my style
of music.
Maybe, in short, I'm looking to learn how to
control and move my legs and body and arms
so that I could investigate various styles (domestic
and foreign) in order to find my own style.

have any directions to go?

go to:

www dot kevinmax dot com/v5

and under the "video" section, watch "Seek Live"

right after he jumps up and down....he does a
little legs-out dance move thats kinda different.
Maybe some fluidity like that is something along
the lines that I'm investigating in trying to learn.

What kinda style would you even call that?
