Okay. So it's the end of the year, and I bet a lot of people are starting to plan vacations for next year already. Does anyone know of good dance destinations? Cruises? Travel organizers? Workshops? Websites with info?

For anyone who's learning Lindy or wants to learn, the Great Southwest Lindyfest in Houston, TX http://lindyfest.hsds.org/ is the place to be March 18-21, 2004. They have a one day beginners workshop, but my recommendation is to take Lindy where you live (start next month) and have a couple of months under your belt and sign up for the entire weekend Friday, Saturday and Sunday - workshops during the day, dances at night and afterhours dancing (if your feet are still standing  ). THE best Lindy instructors nationwide will be there. I went to Lindyfest last year after only 2 months of Lindy and my dancing stepped up considerably thanks to all the great training.

For DanceVisions' Mastery Camps, check www.masterycamps.com
Brigham Young University has lots of dance camps, some even for adult ballroom. http://ce.byu.edu/cw/cwdance/

Apparently, quite a few smaller dance studios and USABDA chapters also sponsor travel deals. Here's one I found sponsored by the Southern Rhapsody Dance Society. A Valentine weekend getaway in Tunica Mississippi, Feb 13- 15, 2004.

I'll post more as I find them during my internet travels. :D

It's late notice for this one, but apparently they sponsor an annual salsa dance cruise. This year's is January 18 - 24, departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
I got the info from salsacrazy, under salsacrazy dance cruise.
