Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

Got any plans?

Mine are dinner and gifts at parents on Christmas Eve; then I'll spend much of the night watching videos. Lunch on Christmas Day at a nearby restaurant before parents travel up north to visit my sister. :)

For NYE I'll go to my studio's dance for the 7th straight year; gotta be the greatest show on earth! 8)

Seasons greetings to all of you!

Christmas is the start of the religious year for me and so somehow spending it with those that are most important to you, family, makes a lot of sense.

My plans are... either go up on the 23rd or 24th (depends if I attend latin class and dance on 23rd) at my aunt's place. Meet up with my three cousins, brother and sister....see the new little one that came on November 15th to my oldest cousin... Mass on christmas eve/christmas day. Having fun with family until the 28th or so. Should be a blast!! :)

Happy & safe holiday to all!

My family never had any rituals. As a child I really hated it, but now, I actually quite enjoy this non-fussy, no-nonsence approach.....

So I've created my own ritual. First week of Jan, I ask all my friends over for a Dumpling Day  ! It's kinda like making home-made pasta ('filled ravioli'!) where everyone ends up covered in flour :P ! Then we get into some serious eating.........

The weather is uauslly too hot to roast turkey etc, so we do picnics/BBQ, or simply go hang out on the beach.

Lots of salsa dancing outdoors....!
