My coach and I often have a conversation about how dance partnerships or dance itself can reflect other aspects of life. When teaching wedding couples, he says, he can often tell how their non-dance relationship is as well -- who's in charge, who compromises, who's in love, etc.
I've seen the same thing as well, in learning to dance -- dance is like life. For example, in learning to follow, I've learned a lot about leadership and being a team player in a business environment. Anybody care to share life lessons you may have learned from your dance experience?
