Tomorrow I will be attening the recording of a drama comedy. I will surley be visible. Just me - the main actor, a nurse and my daughter will be there in that scene.
A few weeks ago I was playing the part as a Portugese gynaecologist. But that time I was in the periphery ...so I guess noone will recogize me. I had a nice time...a nice cup of coffé....heard a very interesting lecture...7 or 8 times...shoot in different angles
I guess it was my photo and description at the casting bureu that made me suitable for a caracter as a Portuguese. I told them I danced salsa
Tomorrow I have to reshape myself ....no similarity to last time.
Keep your fingers crossed!

It went well. We where ready much quicker than expected. Very nice actors (I mean the proffessionals) and a very very nice old lady playing a silent role as well as I did.
The funny thing was when dressing....
I was instructed to bring clothes for beeing an upperclass lady - nice suit ...clothes for business. But I had problems since all my nice suits was too dark for beeing used at the end of August. (We usually don't dress dark in that time of the year....not even for business...we swedes loves the light and salubrate it as long as we can by dressing light)
I brough two pair of trousers, three jackets, nice sandals (my tan colored dancingshoes) and a few hundreds of fake bracelets and earrings etc. In the last moment I put a lationtop on the top of the trunk. I came to the studio dressed in jeans + T-shirt and a nice lace carigan.
When I asked the dressmanager about what to wear he pointed out my jeans, the latinotop and the cardigan!!! He said this was nicer, more funny, more like summerclothing. They had already had too much business suites. On top of that I had big sunglasses with golden decorations and lots of rings and bracelets.
My conclusion - I played myself the whole time. Just a little more gold on top than ususal
I just have to wait a year until I can watch the result :(

what...??? oh, man, talk about delayed gratification. i supposed for a non-speaking role it would be hard to get them to send you a tape before then...
but it sounds like it was fun! did you make any connections that could lead to some more tv work?
