I am passing this along this information on a worthwhile site.
Hi,
I just finished a documentary called Surrender Tango.Thought you'd like to take a look at the website.
It is still a work in progress. www.surrendertango.com.
I'm sending the film to film festivals and hope an airing on the NY
PBS station. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for sharing. It is a nice story which I'm sure will be appreciated by dancers and non-dancers alike.
I like the background music of the website. Do you by any chance know the title? Thanks.

Sorry, everyone. I'm just the messenger on this one.
Tell you what. I'll send her a message and ask her. She will probably be glad to learn about this site. (her email is listed on one of the pages)
Meanwhile, I went to a favorite site to see if the opening music is Escualo by Piazzolla. It isn't, but I want to pass along the url for TodoTango.
http://www.todotango.com/english/main.html
Click on the music section to get to a list of hundreds or ??? of tangos listed alphabetically.
My favorite feature at this site is the selection of the day, which will play 10 songs with one click.

Just got in touch with her. She is currently selling it now on her own for $25.

From miscellaneous things on the web page, they are, apparently, dancing to Escualo.
On their "Related Links" page it has these two addresses under music...could be what they dance to is done by one of them.

I received my DVD in the mail last night. I viewed it and first off, Marcia (The Producer)...:notworth: !!! Good job! it's worthy of PBS.
This is what I liked about it:
Marcia's documentary captures the essence of what we try to explain to our new, and non-AT friends who are curious
She tells without a doubt WHY we dance Argentinean Tango in the first place, that magical connection we can ruminating about
Jorge, and Mariana excellent featured performers in thisI have a collection of Argentinean Tango related movies and documentaries. This is now a permanent part.
Thanks Marcia!

Yes Surrender tango is really good. Nice to know that people are dancing tango in the US and see them too; the commentary and interviews is very well put together and Jorge and Mariana dancing at the end to Escualo by Piazzolla is wonderful,
