Miami 2/15-17

A few of us from IL/WI will be coming to Miami the weekend of 2/15-2/17, and so I'm wondering how to find a hotel convenient for where the clubs are(and affordable), plus where the good places to go would be? I dance on1 or on2, but the point of the trip is to dance salsa cubana...
Suggestions? any fun things going on that weekend to hit up? anyone else want to tag along? :D
