I just added a new link on the right side at the top called "Most Replies". This shows you which topics had the most posts.

Previously I had a link called Most Views. If you miss it, you can still access the page here:
http://www.dance-forums.com/popular.php

but in it's place now is

Come on, ballroomboilergirl! I bet, with a little ingenuity, we can get a shoe thread right up there at the top. Insomniacs R Us, look out! The shoe fanatics are coming after your title.

You guys have a long way to go to catch up to us in the IRU

Hey. All we have to do is siphon off some IRU contributors to a shoe thread (d nice might be a great candidate. He LOVES shoes. ) Meanwhile, recruit a couple new shoe-bies. And we're off!

Hmm, loathe as I am to admit it, a good discussion on why certain dancers pick certain shoe brands would be interesting. I only have one pair (Capezio), but I must say I love em (and I better after 110 bucks!).

I'm thinking I may need a different pair for Swing though...the ones I have work great for Latin and Ballroom...though sometimes they allow you to spin a little TOO much.

Then again, I need new clothes a lot more than shoes. But I really don't need another pair of shoes...I should use that money for lessons and dance events.

Or to save up for Reno...I'm thinking about it...don't think its gonna fly but you never know...hmmm, win the lottery, rob a bank... :P

If you're thinking about swing shoes, try looking at the swing clothes thread. If you follow much of the advice there, I don't think new swing shoes will break the bank.

I have a pair of men's Capezio ballroom oxfords, too. Bought them for an exhibition. They're okay, but somehow my 2.5 inch heeled satin Latin sandals appeal to me more!

SG, whatever you do, please don't show up to Reno in 2.5 inch heeled satin Latin sandals!

Hey, that's not funny guys!

No worries there SD, the only way that would happen would be if they were being worn be a beautiful lady who was travelling with me.

And since that's highly unlikely (well you never know), I can assure you I'd be wearing my black oxfords.

Whether or not I'd be fully clothed though, well that's another story... :P  :P

Excuse me Devin, but aren't you the one that's been talking about becoming an exotic male dancer? I would surmise that we would most likely see you running around half clothed trying to impress people or make a few bucks!

(I suppose I deserved that for my comments about SK's major Freudian slip on another thread).

Here's a better idea - I'll go out dancing with all of the DF ladies, and Neo you can do a private exotic dance show for Swing Kitten! :P

Ok, maybe that wasn't the best idea! Here's another:

Dance for all of the DF ladies! What better way to receive honest feedback then from all the nice women here, and especially since they are all dancers!

You were voted the best looking guy here, so are you going to live up to your title or what?

My comment was meant to be insulting (jokingly) to SK. (which is why I added the running away at the end).

But whatever, I'll do it. If I get started in exotic dancing, I'll dance for the ladies at the second annual dance forum family reunion. I suppose guys if you really want to watch, you can, but I'll let you know in advance that I don't swing that way, so don't be getting your hopes up ;). (Note, nobody will be forced to watch, only those who want to have to)
