Photo vendors

In another vendor related thread, has anyone tried to contact photo vendors after the comp?

I had a really nice photo of me from superstars, I was thinking of ordering its big print. So about 10 days ago I went to the vendor's website, and send them an e-mail asking details about ordering this big print, and haven't heard from them ever since.

that doesn't surprise me b/c they are probably just dealing with some big comp ...I would send another couple emails before assuming a problem...doesn't the website just automatically prompt you with a size to order?

Not knowing who was the vendor at the comp you attended . . . sometimes it has taken that long or longer to get photos from reputable and good photographers.

I don't remember who was the vendor at Hotlanta last year but if you want to order photos at your next event, your money will be well spent with this guy. Absolutely gorgeous pictures and you can tell that he understood dancing. The other vendor that appears to be a much more popular choice(don't want to name names) with organizers really don't quite ermmm.......make the cut.

the hotlanta photographer was great and he does take excellent shots...I don't think the quality of the photos is as good but I find that I always get better shots from him than from the other guy

I can order from the website, but I wanted to ask a question about the product first before giving them my credit card #. The description said it is a "wall print", does it mean it is printed on some special paper, or just the size, or whatever? I'll try getting a hold of them after St. Louis.

I contacted a photo vendor after a comp and it was weeks and weeks before they got back to me. But they did and were very helpful and helped me find what I wanted...
