Hawaii dance help please!

I've known for a while we would be going to Hawaii, and I did a little web browsing for dance information. I found a really cool link that had an e-mail box for visitors (for some reason Hawaii has lots of visitors;-)). You send an e-mail with information about when you are going to be there, where you are staying and what kind of dancing you like to do. The e-mail is forwarded to a list of volunteers who decide whether to get in touch with you and make a connection -- either telling you about your options or meeting you and dancing together. There was a notice that you are not guaranteed to get a reply, but it seems worth a try.

I am an idiot -- I didn't bookmark the website and now I can't find it!!! I have done all kinds of searches, but I'm not a real Google expert. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, please let me know. We're leaving this Saturday, and I'd like to send our information as soon as possible. It sounds like such a friendly idea, and I was so looking forward to seeing if we got any responses.

I don't know the website, but I do hope this info is general, like "I will be staying the week of ...... and I will be on ...... island" not "I will be at ......... address from ..... to.....

This just sounds too much like giving your checking account # out to total strangers. "Hi, I'm in this hotel room, feel free to rob it while I'm out site seeing! :shock: I'm probably being WAY too cautious here, but still...

Perhaps if you told us which area you'll be staying in people could help. After all, if you're staying in Maui, info for Oahu won't do you much good...
