Stardust Dance Weekend @ Kutshers

Are any posters here, going to the Stardust Weekend, March 22/23 at Kutsher's, Monticello, NY.? My wife and I will arrive around 3 p.m. on Thursday.

We had a great time. The resort itself has seen better days, and the meals were good, but not as good as the food on cruise ships. I liken the experience as being like being on a cruise, but you don't go anywhere. There were numerous locations for dancing throughout the resort, and we experienced 18 hours of dance lessons at levels of beginner to advanced. We fit in with the advanced groups throughout.

Some instructors/teachers, had DVDs to sell, showcasing their lessons, and some didn't. Those who didn't, allowed people to video their lessons for playback at home to reinforce their workshop. We tried to write the lessons down and practise them in our rooms during down time, but a video camera is the way to go.

It was about a six-hour relaxing drive down to Monticello but beware of State Troopers with radar cameras....they were all over the highway on our return home.

We'll go again, probably in November.
