Continually striving for excellence.
Northwest DanceSport Championships
In Seattle, June 30, July 1

A special invitation to spend the pre-4th of July weekend with us! We have gone all out to provide you with the highest quality all-amateur regional competition available. The difference with our competition is that it is organized completely by volunteers, many of whom are competive dancers themselves. Keeping in mind that our competitors are amateurs, we strive to keep the costs reasonable. This is now our fifth year of organizing the competition and every year we receive kudos which let us know that this competition is run in a manner that is the envy of many professionals.

Here are just some of the features we are sure you will enjoy.

Beautiful hotel venue. We have chosen the beautiful Seattle Hilton Hotel near the Sea-Tac Airport for this event. You can dress in your room and pop on down to the ballroom for convenience. The ballroom is elegant with great ambience. It's a very short ride to the airport on the hotel's shuttle.
Last USA-Dance regional competition before the 2007 Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, and the last opportunity for U.S. couples to qualify for Nationals.
Scholarship purse of over $3000, and growing. For those wishing to help out and increase this award, sponsors can proceed to our website ticket sales and select the "NWDSC Donation" option to donate. All sponsors will be given special acknowledgement in the program.
We have the fastest results in the West. or anywhere else! All our judges carry pocket PC's and results are instantaneously transmitted to our scrutineer. We typically present awards immediately following your event. No more waiting around in your costume for hours! Also, complete scrutineer sheets are posted on our Web site after the event, so you don't have to mount a search and copy operation any more.
Convenient on-line registration and ticket sales. Online registration and ticket sales are available on our Web site at www.nwregional.org (http://www.nwregional.org/). Online credit card payments are processed securely through authorize.net credit card services. Competitors are only required to purchase one of three weekend passes - Front Row ($75), Theatre Seating ($55) or Competitor SRO (Standing Room Only - $45). There are a limited number of SRO Passes, so sign up now and get them before they are gone! There are no entry fees until the June 10 entry deadline. All entries received after the June 10 deadline will be charged a $10.00 entry fee per event. You can find out instantly who's already entered in any event on our site.
A learning opportunity! Our many fine judges and local professionals offer a host of opportunities during and near the comp to enhance your knowledge and skills. Check out our Sunday Seminar Schedule or stay a few extra days for private lessons you'll reap the benefits!
Make it a vacation! This is the finest time of year to visit Seattle and entertainment possibilities abound. It's an area of natural beauty noted for nearby mountains and waterbodies. Whether your fancy runs to watersports, hiking, visiting arboretums, wineries or excellent restaurants, it's a great place to spend your pre-holiday weekend. You can either stay in town for a few more days and experience one of three big fireworks celebrations, or travel on home to celebrate with with family. You will find Seattleites to be naturally warm and welcoming people who are very proud of this special place in the Northwest. Please visit our website at www.nwregional.org (http://www.nwregional.org/) for more information. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask.

We are looking forward to seeing you in June/July!
