Hi dr daffy. If you look under everyone's Avatar, you will see their location tells you where they live. Just trying to be helpful! :D

is it really a dry land in that regard? no black market on the bases, or wherever you're stationed?
etp777
02-23-2008, 11:48 AM
Some black market somewhere, as I know some people get some, but I'm rather picky about what I drink, so I doubt I'll be too happy with what they might have. :) Plus I'd rather not mess with the laws here, pretty bad. I'll survive just fine. I just may complain a bit until I get bakc. or at least until I take first trip somewhere I'm allwoed to drink.

what"s the penalty if caught drinking over there?
I would hate to think what the penalty would be in a country that does not like alcohol. Lock you away till there discresion? I too think I would go without. for some people that may be a good thing. I don';t know about the states, but binge drinking has become a huge problem in Aust with young people drink those sweet drinks with vodka in it. There is a new thing happening called glassing, where people who have had way to much to drink get aggressive and smash there glass into someone's face :-(
