View Full Version : Farouk CHI 1 Inch Ceramic Flat Hairstyling Iron
I want one. At this moment, I am wondering how I ever survived without one.
Should I just go into a store and pay retail? I've been looking around for an online bargain (Ebay, mostly) and it seems this item is hot enough (harhar) to inspire many forgeries.
Any thoughts? Merci!

It makes my hair beautifully perfectly straight and shiney... My hair has always been a rat's nest.
..... I want this stupid iron. :notworth:

I just got one ...but can't remember the name of it. Paid around $90 on beauty.com. I researched it a bit on epinions.com and some other sites like it. I LOVE it. I was told to make sure it was completely ceramic, tho.
Yeah this lady at the salon made my hair look hawt (lol) and she used this flat iron. I've used irons before but this one is just the best.
Thanks for the advice on making sure it is all ceramic. I didn't know that. ^_^

I really want an iron too. My hair is naturally straight, but I get some curly parts, occasionally. Plus, I like the REALLY straight look. Scared of E-bay irons. What should I look for in an iron?

When I go home, I'll let you know what brand I got. I do love it, though. Although it makes the hair shinier, it somewhat exposes my roots a bit more. Time for a touch up!
Cool yes please tell me. I'd like to know if it's a Chi. ^_^
*taps foot* Are you home yet? ^_^

I bought a Chi about a year ago, when I was trying to grow my hair out. My hair is pretty straight when I keep it short, but it gets wavy and frizzy when it's longer. I didn't like the Chi for the simple reason that I couldn't make it work. Couldn't get the frizz completely out. I may try it again one of these days. I paid about $100 for it and it's just lying there gathering dust.

But salons always manage to make one's hair look great. I've tried a flat iron myself and I never managed, but the guy at the salon manages to. Tell me if this Chi iron gives you good results. I've tried the Chi serum and it is really good, gives a nice silky feeling to the hair.
