What do woman do for performances for tango? I have a photoshoot tomorrow and AT will be a small portion of it. What can be done with long blonde hair to recreate the ballroom look. Any advice within next hour or so would be vey helpful :) and any photos would be even more helpful.
I hope someone can advise...

I don't know about "recreating the ballroom look." That's kind of antithetical to AT.

Most genuine tango performances that I've seen have been quasi-impromptu. As a result, the performers often just go slip on a different dress/suit and let that be the end of it.

But, for your photoshoot, I'd suggest going with a very retro look. Part it and pull it back into a low bun, and stick a flower on the left side by the knot or something. I can't think of how else to describe what I have in mind.

newbie question: just curious, how come the left side? Is it so it's not in the guy's face?

newbie question: just curious, how come the left side? Is it so it's not in the guy's face?Yep. May or may not be an issue, depending on relative height and the embrace and how she carries her head in close embrace. But just to be on the safe side, I'd say left.

Sorry for responding so late but don't visit the AT section of the forum so often.. It was a shoot for Getty Images.. mainly ballroom but they wanted to do some AT as well. I posted some shots in my profile.. won't share too many AT shots as they would probably hurt your eyes... there are some shots where even I go "grrrr there isn't supposed to be ballroom poise in AT... "

also noting, the photo in avatar was done at the end of the day.. we were all TIRED. I dont do so many dips etc.. ever.. so I don't know how to do them well.. so when the blood rushed to my head I almost fainted.. wasn't able to stand up for over a minute... funny experience, will never look at this shot without thinking about it... was dizzy for about 2 hours and throwing up.. stupid things we do..

ok thank.. back to AT
