Just wanted to know if anyone else gets excited when they see the ipod commercial on tv.

I like the song.

I have posted in the past about not liking the image that the media portrays of salsa. I love this particular portrayal of salsa.

That's a beautiful ad. (The media have come such a long way from Whites-Are-Whiter-Colors-Brighter. It's really an art form.)

Thanks for mentioning this commercial! I totally dug it and was thrilled to see such flavour on the commercial screen.

Hi the song originally came out in my label Candela Recordings on a 12"
Artists Quantic and Nickodemus with Tempo and The Candela all stars.
Tempo is Hector Tempo Alomar (Roberto Roena) and Candela all stars is my project with a bunch of local latin musicians. On this song Tempo wrote the song , melodies and percussion, Javier Rivera trumpet , Georgie Cruz Sax, Pedro Bermudez piano, Polito Huerta bass and Quantic and Nickodemus programming.
You can hear a few of our tracks at www.myspace.com/candelaallstars (http://www.myspace.com/candelaallstars) we do new latin music. Right now i am finishing the new solo album of Sammy Ayala, Candela all stars, Local 12 and Bronx River parkway with Candela all stars. I also have a collaboration with UK producers and the name of the label is ABCD you can find the new Sammy Ayala 7" "Pienso en Ti" great salsa track. Also a new collaboration came out in Italy with Gerardo Frisina the name of the song is La Calle de Candela . I am glad people like the song. I still can't believe whats happening. At least i have a lot of music to put out there.

I think you are talking about "Invitacion al salon" i like it a lot sounds like Old/new and it has definitely influence of cumbia/salsa/funk/soul
'Pienso en Ti" is straight salsa you can listen a bit here http://www.soulseduction.com/common/item_detail.php?ItemID=171559

Chcek also this collaboration with my favourite Italian producer Gerardo Frisina La Calle de Candela is more jazzy great ep
