At least here, salsachinita, you can buy cheap, cheap, international phone cards, for specific countries. For example, I have bought cards for $5 that give an hour of phone time from the US to Ghana. It's important to get the right card, though. A one-hour Ghana card may give you only ten minutes to Europe.

I'll take a look around and see what I can find.

Okay. I just looked at one of my phone cards. Apparently, they're regional. My cards have access numbers from specific Florida cities, and are intended for calls to specific African countries -- the rate per minute depends on the destination country. Hope that makes sense.

Also, btw, the US postal service has reciprocal agreements with several countries where you can buy international money orders. I'm not sure if Australia is one of those countries, but I can find out if you want.

(Can you tell I have lots of friends and family overseas? :lol: )

Salsachinita... Paypal should work for you just fine. As far as phone cards you can use, check with MadamSamba, she'll be able to stear you to what you'd need.

Yes, Fernando's offer is still valid -- and will remain so until 15 people have taken him up on his offer! :D

The link you provide is valid, just click on the "make a donation" button on the bottom left to make a paypal donation. Then just PM Fernando with the name you made the donation under so that he can confirm the donation.
