i just bought some fancy steaks & burgers & such for the first time from an online vendor & had'em shipped to dad for father's day... he loves to grill & appreciates a good steak... which i know he's too frugal to really pay for. lol... he'll like this.

IME, dads can be hard to shop for... i've done the home depot gift certificate, a fabulous selection of shirts & ties when it's time for a fashion update, and, well... those are the only ones that have seemed to be real winners. gave up the books & music gifting... i think they're just wasted on him.

what do you guys do, or have done?

Kudos to my brother for coming up with this year's idea. (My mom might kill us, but Dad will love it.)

We're getting him a ride in an open cockpit bi-plane. We tried to find one that does tricks (rolls, loops, etc.), but didn't have any luck.

Thank you, little brother!

Took my father to see Ocean's 13. He was thrilled, and enjoyed the film.
