Was there a prior thread on this subject?

Anyway, I was wondering if the interest level in ballroom dancing among teenagers has risen in general.

I see more of them here then previous and I think it's great. 8)

I don't think so Spitfire!! I recollect a thread on age of starting dance and a couple similar threads, but not this specific issue. I'm really haven't paid much attention to the teenager "issue". However, at the Ithaca social dances and some others I've seen parents come dancing and bring along their kid, usually a girl. (Where are all those guys? [Shrug in belwilderment]) I always try and do a couple dances with her as I want to make sure that she has a good time and gets into dancing. :)

A lot of the kids around here do dance, but it's more club freestyle than anything else. A local high school has a ballroom team, which is actually getting quite good. (Both ballroom teachers involved with that team are teachers of mine. :D ) But, for the most part, teenagers around here aren't into ballroom. Yet.
