Lol... I don't even want to look at your posts about dresses any more lol. You have the most beautiful dresses (love this dress and want it even though it's not my size), but I can't afford them! Beautiful though! Love it! ;)

Lol! They are still more than what I can afford, which is why I'm going to learn how to make them and sell what I have made as well. I've been getting help from other DF's as to what to look for etc. when I go to the places. Yesterday I had fun checking out a fabric store. But I can't do the first dress by myself. So, I talked to my mom and she said she'd come with me to help me with measurements and things like that. I figure for my first competition and whatever else I do, I can use the cheaper gowns. I don't need expensive material until I become more advanced is what I had thought. I've seen what the other girls wear, and it's nothing really fancy. So, I'm excited about it! And once I have the dresses made, I'll post them! But that might not be for some time yet. :D
But I do agree with you though! Latin is definitely cheaper! Which is weird because the Latin dresses uses more things like Fringe which can cost a lot depending on where you go. ;)

Lol... what was that thread when we were joking about using napkins for the tops of our dresses lol? But yeah, I agree! That's why I thought I'd start with a Latin dress first. However, yesterday I found a pretty pink fabric which reminded me of that pink dress you had shown awhile ago. So, then I thought that I might not start with Latin lol! It was so beautiful, and pink is a good color on me. I can't wait! :D

Thank you! And yes before anyone says this lol, I know that you spend some money when you make your own dresses as well. But I love being crafty lol. I like making things. I've got patience to do so I guess. Some people don't. And I figure once I do a couple of dresses, the other ones won't be as difficult. I'm going to have to learn about the different material etc., but I've already been given a good start thanks to actually everyone that has contributed even on the costume threads as well as through pm's! I've gone back and read some of those, and it's all been very helpful. I appreciate it all. ;)
