I figure this should get some views just because of curiosity as to what the heck this thread is about. :)

I may be going to kuwait for a year, and wondering if anyone happened to know of any ballroom studios (or any type of dancing, I currently do ballroom swing and latin, but just generally being able to continue dance would be a good thing for me) in Kuwait. Trying to do some research online, but haven't found anything yet. And strangely enough, fred astaire doesn't seem to have a studio there. ;)

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. if I have to, can take a year off without too much trouble, as only being 8 months in means I don't really know all that much to forget and have to relearn. :) But if I can avoid that, that'd be great.

etp,

It worked . . . I looked!

Recognizing that someone who's currently in Kuwait would be best, however, I'll ask DW since her parents lived there for a number of years . . . and maybe not too far fetched since the Arthur Murray site shows studios in Jordan, Egypt, and Israel.

Congrats on seeing the world! Please keep us posted no matter what.

To be honest, I somehow didn't even think of looking at AM's site. I probably should have done that as second step in my search (hit FA's site first, being FA student). I'll continue looking, and appreciate you asking for me. Thanks
