How dressy are the evening sessions at USA Dance nationals? Should I be thinking cocktail dress, evening gown, nice summer suit...or will I be laughably overdressed in any of those?

The first time I went to Ohio Star Ball, I was seriously underdressed for Saturday night (I felt like I was the only woman wearing pants--UGH!), so I now I tend to err on the other side of caution...but of course I'd rather dress appropriately.

People are usually moderately dressed up (think business casual) but there are tons of people in jeans and nice tops too. It runs the gamut but is NOT even close to OSB-type dressed up. It could be different this year being a) in the South, where things are just more formal, from what I've heard, and b) being in a hotel, a fancier environment. Although, given that the participants will be the generally the same, I can't imagine it being THAT different.

Smart casual to semi-formal. Though you will definitely see a few slobs...
