Are there franchise studios other then Arthur Murray's and Fred Astaire's?

Those are the only two I'm familiar with.

Although this is not really a franchise, there is an ever-growing Federation of independent studios via Wayne Eng's DanzSupport Network. I believe independent studios can follow the business model, use pre-printed forms/contracts, and teach to the DVIDA syllabus, which can bring more consistency to independent studios from town to town.

It'll be interesting to see how this system evolves.

Tom Chapman Studios, TC Inc., are another dance franschise.

And how is the DanceAccess Network related to this, if it is at all? And I saw an ad the other day -- something about dance studios becoming interdependent, rather than indepenedent. I'll have to see if I can find that ad again. I'm pretty sure it wasn't DVIDA, the Wayne Eng thing. Hmm.
