What this has to do with Salsa -- I just dont know !!

I could've sworn I heard some clave and saw some shines in that routine. By that thin definition, it fit into the salsa performance category. ;)

People have voiced complaints before anytime they didn't hear a "traditional" salsa or mambo song used for a routine (think Royalty Salsa's "Smooth Criminal" routine) or when they felt something was too jazzy ("The Darkness" routine) to be considered salsa.

My comments were not about the music ( or the lack of it )-- simply put, Interpretive . Very clever-- yes . Entertaining - yes again. But by any standards-- not Salsa ( as we know it )

I agree. I was more impressed by the creativity in the routine and the choreography. Regarding the music, it sounded like it came from the original NES and no, I wouldn't identify that as salsa as we know it.

QUITE HONESTLY-- THEY HAVE A GOOD FUTURE IN THEATER-- DONT KNOW IF THEY HAVE PURSUED THAT AVENUE-- I CERTAINLY WOULD !!
