I DJ the local swing night at a club here in town, and they're going for a "swingers" atmosphere, lots of jazzy swing, which is great for the lindy crowd, but I'd also like to pull in some of the West Coast crowd. I can't play N'Sync or MJ without breaking the atmosphere the club wants, so I've been trying to find jazz or blues tunes that are good west coasts, it's even better if they're also good lindies.
I've got the classic Wade in the Water and Son of a Preacher man, and a few others, but I'd LOVE suggestions for other Westie-able jazz or blues.

 for some reason I've always thought of WC as a "swing that doesn't like jazz"

The one noramally played for wcs dances is good, but the Yoko Noge Jazz Me Blues Band have an incredible version. Best I've ever heard.

Opinions please...
Ruby Mae by Indigo Swing - best for Lindy or WCS or equal?

I'd be pleased to hear it at a WCS dance but never have. Probably too melodic for some of the contemporary dancers though.
