Hi, everyone! Hope y'all are well!

So, I've taken the plunge.....I'll be doing my first showcase in early December, and I've decided to do a Samba! :D

Now, I need a song. I want something fairly new, fresh and sassy. I've looked at the list here and I kinda like Stella Soleil's "Kiss Kiss". It's fun and it'll amuse the audience, as my instructor's 23 and I'm 42. :raisebro:

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Hello,
Boy this is the first reply I have sent. I'm a newbie, hope it goes through.
I don't know if you like Shakira, but if you do there is a song on her CD "Laundry Service" called "Whenever, Wherever". It's a really good Samba Song. I am partial to Shakira, as I have seen her in concert. If you want a spicey flair to it I think the song is also avaialble in "Spanish". Many of her songs sound even better in her native tongue.

I like "Mas Que Nada" and "Hips Don't Lie", both of which are on the Latin Music 8 CD.

I also like "Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani, and "Get Busy" by Sean Paul.

I've still searching (for months now) the name of the Samba song that Serena Lecca and Alan Tornsberg performed to in the '99? WSS Latin tape. Please help. thanks.
