Forget for a moment any of the fake lables we use, like bronze or gold or level I, II and III. They are just words. What defines makes a dancer an advanced dancer or intermediate for that matter in terms of how they actually dance. For example I think that to be considered an advanced dancer you must be able to stay on time with the music. What are some other traits that set folks apart in levels in terms of actually execution of their dance?
I am so glad this has been brought up.
My list of what I look enjoy about a great dance partner
1) able to follow the music
2) playfullness
3) ability to improvise
4) balance
5) sexiness, the way she carries herself not physical beauty
I have danced with some beautiful women who could not be sexy to save there lives.
Even with all this "criteria" how often do we really go out and rate dancers?

Thats true, its kinda cool to watch students start out at a studio and develop that 'presence'.
