I'm looking for a strict tempo version of the Harry Potter theme (the first few bars are Viennese but then it changes). I know such CDs are available, but I've only found them for sale in Europe. Can anyone point me to a site I can order one from for US sale? I'd the Lucia Belami version but I'll take whatever I can get. Thanks!

Find the name of the CD you want, possibly from its European supplier or publisher, then google for that name.

It's on Casa Musica's Ballroom Classics Five.

That did help though the CDs I'm finding are a bit out of my price range. Anyone know the album name of Jack Dorsey Orchestra version?
Edit: Thanks, Wyllo, I just found it though the US albums are a bit too pricey so I'm looking for other artists' versions. I miss you guys out there.

That's the problem isn't it? Good strict tempo ballroom music has a less-than-mass-market audience, and is therefore pricier. But couldn't you use a CD with 20+ tracks of danceable music?
Also, try DanceShopper for somewhat lower prices on ballroom CDs. I have no connection to them, apart from being a customer.

It's not a question of value so much as an, "The high cost of dancing has forced me to move back in with my parents while I save money and I don't even dance Viennese competitively." It makes it hard to justify $35 + shipping. That said, I've found a copy on Ballroomdancers.com for only $22. That, I can live with.

$35 is rather steep. Who was charging that?
